Porencephalic Cyst / Neurosurgery consult upcoming?

A MRI and CT scan revealed that I have prominent encephalomalicia adjacent to the anterior horn of the left ventricle (likely due to a stroke about 13 years ago). It also revealed a small cystic focus adjacent to the left frontal horn measuring 1.6 cm compatible with a small porencephalic cyst which appears to indicate with the frontal horn. My neurologist has just made a referral for a neurosurgery consult due to the presence of the cyst. What should I expect at the consultation, what questions should I ask, and what if any treatment options may be given?
