What are his chances? Possible outcomes?

My brother aged 45 recently spent time in hospital with his heart beating erratically. Following tests and being put on warfarin (blood thinning drug) he was released and tomorrow he is having a camera inserted to view the rear of his heart through the oesophagus and also his heart is to be stopped and restarted to try to get the rhythm back to normal. He was told his right ventricle is only functioning at 35%, I am aware that this is not good news, especially because it's the right and not the left? Can anyone offer their experience on this or what his options for treatment may be after this? Could we be talking heart transplant here?
