Girls: When do u start liking nice guys?

Okay so im in high school and it seems like girls are attracted to those arrogant cocky self centered jerks. Ha well im not like tht im just like... nice... i think.. i treat girls with respect and treat them like really good, like with my ex i got her a really nice gift for xmas and took out to a reall nice dinner for vday, and would always pay for everything. but over all i wouldnt ever play a girl. so wen do u girls stop liking those ***holes and start liking nice guys??
